Manly Wheelchair Basketball's mission is to build and deliver a sustainable Wheelchair Basketball Program that encourages and supports players’ goals. They aim to remove barriers to accessing the sport and equipping players with the necessary skills, knowledge, support networks & resources. The $1000 from Bulk Gives Back will go towards paying for their Manly Wheel Eagles National League players to enter the Australian Wheelchair Basketball National League.

Extinction aims to foster a training environment and structure that caters for players of all skill levels and commitment levels in order to develop SE Queensland ultimate players especially youth. They train and play together all year round in a supportive, inclusive but competitive environment. The $1000 will be used to fund an upgrade for their youth program equipment.

Adamstown Cricket are a cricket club consisting over more than 150 players across a number of teams supporting all abilities and cultures. They have players in age from 13 up to 58 both Male and Female with cultures including Indian, Pakistan, Asian, South African, Aboriginal and New Zealand. The funds will be used to purchase electronic scoring equipment.

2nd Abbotsford Sea Scouts Port Neptune offers dynamic programs for people aged 5 to 26. Their Scouts engage in diverse activities, from camping and hiking to extreme challenges like abseiling and sailing. With a focus on water-based adventures, such as sailing and canoeing, they create an environment where youth build resilience, independence, and lasting friendships. The Bulk Gives Back $1000 will be used to upgrade their vessel's outboard engine.

Crew Fitness
Crew Fitness was started by a group of gym friends that decided to keep training together when the gym they were attending closed in 2021. Their not for profit group now has 3 coaches that program different sessions everyday from circuit-style training to High Intensity Interval Training while keeping membership pricing low and making fitness affordable. The $1000 grant will be used to fund a 10 week block of free stretching classed for every one in the community.

Molenda Lodge
Molenda Lodge provides activities (farm, craft, horse therapy, hospitality etc.) for children and youth experiencing behaviour difficulties that preclude them from full time school attendance. They also assist with aged citizens experiencing dementia and other nursing home patients. The $1000 will be used to purchase games equipment.

With a fearsome name and fiery passion for the game, the Vic Park Vultures are a community soccer club that has teams for all ages, genders and abilities. Located in the heart of Ballarat their goal is to bring their community together through soccer. The funds will be used to purchase training bibs and goal nets.

Frankston Life Saving Club are a community group of life savers patrolling their beach to keep their community safe. They have 4 patrolling teams who rotate each fortnight as well as train 150 nippers each Friday. The $1000 from Bulk Nutrients will be put towards purchasing new Nipper boards for their younger members.

Bluejays Softball Club has been an integral part of the Gawler and District Softball Association (GDSA) since the club’s inception in 1986. The club started with a group of women in their 30s - 40s who wanted to get together and have fun playing a team sport – softball. As the years went on their children also wanted to play and so their junior program started. The $1000 will be used to replace equipment such as bases and balls.

Western Suburbs Rugby Union Club cater for players of all ages, abilities and genders from across the Townsville region. With such a diverse club group they have become a great way for people to know each other through sport who wouldn’t normally cross paths in daily life. The $1000 will be used to kit out all their volunteers (coaches/committee etc) with club apparel that designates them as volunteers and the first point of call for all current and new club members/players to seek support.

Casuarina Storm Swimming Club plays an important role in promoting/encouraging participation in swimming as a sport and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. They support their young swimmers to develop leadership skills and become role models. The $1000 grant will support the establishment of a Saturday morning breakfast series, providing a platform for networking and team building for their swimmers.

Candelo Adult Riding Club was formed in 2011 by a group of local Candelo ladies to encourage and assist adult riders in their community. Starting small, they now have 52 members with riders from the Bega Valley, Snowy Monaro, Eurobodalla and as far as the East Gippsland Region. The $1000 will be used to purchase show jumping equipment.

Hedland Taekwondo Club is a family orientated club focused on promoting strong and healthy development for young children. HTC run a ninja tot obstacle course designed to develop gross motor skills, cardio fitness for children, and build confidence through controlled and supervised risk taking. Think Ninja Warrior for 5 year olds! The Bulk Gives Back funds will be used to replace equipment.

Northern Beaches Cycling Club, embraces a range of cycling activities, including road cycling, mountain biking, gravel riding, cyclocross and electric biking. Their vibrant logo symbolises the diversity of cycling experiences their members enjoy, emphasising inclusiveness to ensure that riders of all abilities, feel they are valued and belong. The $1000 from Bulk Gives Back will be used to purchase helmets, jerseys and bib-nicks for their youth squad. These will then be immediately available to youth that join the club, and provided free of charge as loan uniforms.

Newcastle Outrigger Canoe club members range from those “way over the hill” to “spring chickens”; from those at school to retirees and all categories in between – outrigging is a sport for EVERYONE. It’s a club that appreciates the ocean and uses it with respect and gratitude. The funds will be used to support their women's masters team to attend the World Outrigger Sprint Championships in Hilo, Hawaii on 13-24 August 2024.

Beresfield Memorial Cricket Club celebrated its 90th year Anniversary last season, and they cater for any person who wishes to partake in sport for fun but also to support our mental health and wellbeing. The cricket club like all sporting clubs, small business and families are finding it hard to raise the money that is required to stay active and operational, and whilst at the same time, keep fees low to enable and encourage people to be able to participate. The Bulk Gives Back funds will be used to replace curating equipment to maintain the playing grounds.

Cygnet Riding Club are a local horse riding club located in Cygnet, Tasmania. They organise riding events (rallies, obstacles days, social trail rides) that aim to educate and encourage riders of all ages and abilities to foster a connection with their horses and fellow riders. The money will be put toward the purchase of a portaloo for the club as the current public facilities are recurrently non-functional, very poorly maintained and some distance from the club grounds.

Western Districts Joggers and Harriers are a running/walking club that has been established over 40 years and supports all age groups from the youngest 8 years old to 86 years old. Their handicap systems ensures that they are inclusive club and supports all abilities, regardless of age and gender. The Bulk Nutrients funds will be used to partially fund their public liability insurance.

Kotara Cricket Club
Kotara Cricket Club has played continuously in the Newcastle cricket competition for almost 80 years. An aging player group caused numbers to drop and so the club has transitioned to a more family/community based club. With this push, they were able to register a women’s (mother/daughter) team in the local women’s competition and a development league (father/son) team. They now have men and women with ages ranging from 12 to 60+ playing cricket for our club, and even have 3 generations (grandfather/father/son) playing in the same game. The $1000 from Bulk Gives Back will be used to purchase playing and training equipment.

Have Hope supports families bereaved by suicide and those impacted by family violence. They provide practical support such as a nourishing meal or school supplies for the kids, as well as provide community education. The funds from Bulk Gives Back will be used to pay the fuel costs of volunteers to deliver food and hampers as part of their outreach program.

Mount Sugarloaf Croquet Club is a sporting group that was formed about 25 years ago to encourage those people in the area of West Wallsend and surrounds (Western Newcastle area) to come together on a regular basis, to learn to play and enjoy playing the game of croquet along with the added benefit of social interaction. The funds will be used to purchase a fridge so they can store food and drinks in their clubhouse.

Albury United Soccer Club is deeply committed to promoting the well-being of their local community, both physically and mentally. The $1,000 contribution from Bulk Nutrients will be instrumental in helping Albury United Soccer Club enhance their Mini Roos program by purchasing new Mini Roos goals. Both their president and vice president are nurses and are wishing to look into more ways to support the families at our club to become healthier. The funds will be used to help provide healthy family meal options on their training nights as well as to provide free fresh fruit and water to all players at training and games.

Northern Rivers Dirty Wheels Mountain Bike Club has established, maintains and manages two mountain bike parks (Duck Creek and New Italy trails) and coordinates a range of other activities such as club and community events, fundraising, club events, youth training and development, community awareness and engagement. The funds from Bulk Gives Back will support the development of MTB orienteering to gradually build map reading and orienteering skills and add another dimension of fun to their regular skills training meetings.

They appreciate that kids living in small rural towns don’t always have the same opportunities as their peers in cities, so they are especially passionate about bringing cricket to the younger generations. As the only sporting club in the town of Elaine, they provide cricket to ages 12 through to 51 years old and their club has many older and younger members of the community come to watch the cricket on Saturday afternoons. As a club, they are very aware of how important it is mentally and physically to provide a hub for members of their community to socialise and play sports. The funds will be used to purchase new training equipment.

Gingin is a rural town playgroup, that has two sessions a week run by volunteers. Their key focus is creating a welcoming group for families that are new to parenting or new to the area to ensure that they feel welcomed in the community and know they have people there if they need help and support. The $1000 from Bulk Gives Back will be used to buy supplies and equipment, and to support a fully funded excursion, to ensure all participants can attend.

The Dover Devils are the most southern soccer team in Australia! Their goal is to enable the children of Dover and surrounding communities to
enhance their physical and mental health, development and social skills through organised sport in a fun, inclusive and nurturing environment. They remove the financial obstacle to sporting participation by not charging any team fees, and provide jerseys and boot swap programs. They will use the funds to support their teams to travel to the Hobart and Launceston Cups.

Bayside Netball Club is based in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Its primary goal is to give kids a fun and encouraging environment, to just try/play netball and get fit and active. They are also leading the way in promoting male participation in Netball, which excitingly is growing very quickly. The $1000 will support the purchase of new equipment and support training provision for coaches.

Woden Valley Swim Club is based in Canberra and supports swimmers ranging in age from 7 through to 60 years. Their club committee is made up of volunteer parents and swimmers who help guide the development and progression of their club in a way that fully supports their swimmers in developing their skills. Adelaide Hills Cycling Club is an active and welcoming club for road racing cyclists, they hold safe, regular and enjoyable club cycling race events throughout the year for their members and members of other cycling clubs to participate in. They cater for all ages and genders, from juniors starting out to veteran cyclists. The $1000 will be used to purchase a branded gazebo to use at events.

Riding for the Disabled Harvey
Riding for the Disabled Harvey provide therapeutic interactions with horses for people with a wide range of disabilities or additional support needs, enabling them to experience enjoyment, challenge and a sense of achievement improving their quality of life, attaining personal goals and developing new skills. The funds will be used to purchase signage, advertise their programs and update the blinds in their facility.

Perth Roller Derby
Perth Roller Derby (PRD) is the original roller derby league in Western Australia. Roller derby is an inclusive sport and their club has participants who are female, female identifying or non binary and has members from ages 19 to 52! The Bulk Gives Back grant will support the sending of two teams to The Great Southern Slam roller derby tournament in Adelaide in June.

In 2022, Ballarat Clovers was established from the vision of three Irish women seeking to establish a ’home away from home’ for the thriving Irish expat community in Ballarat. Catering to all ages and genders, their club hosts joint training sessions every Thursday, fostering unity and camaraderie and providing opportunities for kids to engage with Gaelic Football through clinics held in local primary and secondary schools. The $1000 will be used to purchase Gaelic footballs and equipment.

Power House Rugby Union Club
Founded in 1933 the Power House Rugby Union Football Club is one of the oldest rugby clubs in Victoria. In 2024, Power House Rugby Club will be fielding 7 teams in the Rugby Victoria competitions, including first grade which competes in the state grade competition (Dewar Shield), a women’s team in the Lindroth Cup, a Colts team in the Bolton Cup and a wheelchair rugby team. The Bulk Gives Back funds will support medical supplies and supplements for their team members.

Longley Cricket Club
The Longley Bunyips are a bush cricket club based in Sandfly, Tas, with a strong community and family history. With the addition of junior cricket, they’re really pleased to bring in more local families and provide a pathway from junior cricket into senior cricket, and grow the game and also grow their community. Their C Grade team currently consists of several father and son players, and with junior cricket we’ve got a broad range of ages and both boys and girls who have joined the club. The grant will be used to purchase equipment and subsidise the registration fees for the junior members.

St. Bede's provides breakfast weekly, (and other services), in a safe, welcoming environment for mental health and disabled residents in residential care, the homeless, the unemployed, the socially disadvantaged, rough sleepers, and others looking for a meal or social contact. The funds from Bulk Gives Back will support a bus trip for fun and amusement to Barossa Bowland for those whose existence is repetitively boring in residential homes, and to people whose lives are marked by survival with no spare money for entertainment.

Jari’s Place was created by his mother Faith, in memory of her son Jari, who was a staff member at Bulk Nutrients. It is a facility that offers a welcoming space for men to seek legal advice, speak to police in private, have access to professional services in the privacy of a safe space. Fusion's Food Relief Veggie Garden grows vegetables that are donated to some of the services in the Kingborough area, who are supplying food hampers and food relief to families in need. The garden project started in 2014 growing 130kg of produce and has itself grown to produce ~1.5 tonnes of veggies that are donated free to local charities, each year. The funds will be used to upgrade six raised garden beds to wicking beds.

The b kinder foundation was set up to honour the legacy of 12 year old Billie Kinder and her incredible way of being. Billie was empathetic, compassionate and above all kind. Through early intervention, the b kinder foundation uses unique, positive resources designed by teachers and psychologists to initiate discussions surrounding emotions that can be difficult for the young to communicate and empower children with a tool set of skills and strategies to help them develop an enriched sense of wellbeing, belonging and self-esteem. Hopeworks rescues food from local supermarkets and food stores. The food is sorted, quality checked and value added by local young vulnerable people in the community . The food is released back into the community in hampers and ready meals to those in need. They rescue approx. 50 tons of edible food from land fill, the equivalent of 100,000 meals. The young people who participate in this program also complete a certificate in Baking and Food Processing. The funds will be used to purchase containers to supply their meals in.

She Shreds Australia is a local community organisation that was established by keen skater and father of two Jared Andrew in 2014 with the intention of increasing girls’ participation in skateboarding. She Shreds runs skateboarding sessions for girls and those identifying, on weekends in the greater Hobart region. As well as an opportunity for friendly non-competitive socialising at skate parks, She Shreds also provides basic skateboarding lessons for beginners and is aiming to host skateboarding competitions. The funds will be used to offer scholarships to young local girls to offer one-on-one tutorials with our coaches.
